I’m Anthony Cockerill. I blog about writing, the written word and teaching English. I’ve taught English for over fifteen years and I’ve been Head of English in a North Yorkshire school since 2015.
As my blog has continued to grow in popularity, there have been lots of opportunities to make some noise about great writing. I’ve led a workshop at the NATE Conference 2019 and have contributed to publications in my field as a freelance writer – which I continue to do.
Increasingly, other people have asked me to share advice or write content for their projects. I love using my aptitude for writing – and the skills I’ve learned as a blogger – to help people showcase their work. You can read about these ventures over at Tastes Like Fresh Copy.
